As Babe Ruth became more and more popular every year in the 1920s, he became the master endorser. Hence, the “Babe Ruth All-America Athletic Underwear” distributed via these bright green boxes complete with an image of a smiling Ruth. The single garmet is still as originally manufactured, apparently unused (we hope!). Meanwhile, the box is nice as originally issued, and has many major faults including corner breaks, creasing and the entire right side of the box top completely separated. However, the smiling Ruth image is intact with only a small wrinkle along his right shoulder. When this item was sold, it was during a time when Ruth used to hit more home runs in a single season that most TEAMS did! He single-handedly transformed hero worship, and was a marketing maven. Unusual item with a great Ruthian image.
