Graded NM-MT 8 by PSA. Hall of Famer. The brightly colored wrapper of this very scarce collectible depicts the last hitter to bat over .400 in a season. In 1959, the Topps monopoly kept Fleer from releasing a set of current players, so the company side-stepped the issue by putting together a commemorative series to honor Ted Williams. The offered five-cent pack, containing six never-touched cards, is a fabulous unopened relic of that universally admired production. The pack's appearance betrays almost no evidence of handling, and its glistening surface and tight seal remain essentially untouched Near Mint to Mint condition.
