The arrival of David Wright made Mets fans proud again. This bat, used during the third baseman's first full season in the majors, helped him rank among the top 10 in the NL in average, hits, total bases, RBI, extra base hits, and runs. The Rawlings M630S bat shows light use and is uncracked. A few ball marks and stitch impressions are seen on the barrel as are white leather ball scuffs and blue ink transfers. Green and blue bat rack paint streaks and imprint from a batting donut are visible. There is a light coat of pine tar on the handle. Model number "M630S", order "040" and year "05" are stamped into the knob end. The weight "31" and "Wright" are handwritten on the knob end in black ink. His number "5" is also on both the knob and barrel end in black marker. Wright has signed the bat and added "Game Used 306 Avg. 102 RBI 175B in bright blue marker. PSA/DNA stickers 1B07433 and V73143 are affixed to the barrel end along with a Locker Room and David Wright sticker. Letter of Authenticity from PSA/DNA.
