America loves a comeback story, and perhaps the best one of the first decade of the 21st century was Josh Hamilton. Dragging himself back from the brink of self-destruction brought on by drinking and drugs, Hamilton roared out of the 2007 Reds spring training with a vengeance. As eager baseball fans watched, the Reds outfielder redeemed his career by hitting just shy of .300 with 19 homers in 90 games. It was the perfect story of redemption, played out on a baseball field in from of millions. This is one of Hamilton's bats used during that phoenix-like summer. The Carolina Clubs Pro bat shows light use and is uncracked. Hamilton's number "33" is handwritten n black marker on the knob end. PSA/DNA sticker number 1B07417 is affixed to the knob end. Letter of Authenticity from PSA/DNA.
