During the early part of his career, John Bench and other Cincinnati Reds players participated in charity basketball games played in the Ohio, Indiana and Kentucky areas. These games were organized by Skip Weber, whom this Johnny Bench warm up jacket was obtained. The white wool jacket has red piping and has the name “BENCH” across the back. Within the jacket is a partial manufacturer’s tag, which is torn in half. Also accompanying this jacket is an LOA form Mr. Weber, and two Reds team basketball photos, with Bench and Pete Rose. One shows the team in their basketball jersey, while the second shows the team in these exact warm up jackets. Very nice overall condition and a very unique “game worn” Johnny Bench item.
