Graded NM 7 by PSA. Hall of Famer. Tris Speaker held a career batting average of .345, ranking six all time in baseball history. He still holds the record for the most doubles in a career at 792. Speaker spent eight years with the Boston Americans/Red Sox franchise, including the 1909 season, which was captured in this specimen. The famed T206 series had a variety of product backs, the most famous of which, arguably, is Piedmont, the same brand carried by this card. Of the more than 200 examples reviewed by PSA, just four have received this grading tier with just three grading higher. Near Mint condition.
