Arguably the greatest pure hitter in baseball history, Ted Williams, .482 career on-base percentage ranks number one all-time just ahead of Babe Ruth’s .474. A six-time AL batting champion with a .344 career average Williams .406 mark in 1941 remains the last time anyone has eclipsed .400 in more than 70 years. A two-time Triple Crown winner and two-time AL MVP, oddly enough not in the same seasons, Williams was named to the All-Star team every year of his 19-year career with the exception of his first season when he still hit .327 and led the AL with 145 RBI and 344 total bases. Williams signed this Bobby Brown Official American League ball on the sweet spot in blue ball point pen ink. The ball contains a Ted Williams “#9” and comes with a PSA/DNA LOA grading “8”.
