Classic was a multi-sport card company in the 1990s who concentrated on draft picks and produced the very first trading card of Derek Jeter in 1992. This card is boldly singed on the front in blue Sharpie “Derek Jeter” and numbered “2/1125”, very significant since this has been Jeter’s jersey number throughout his Hall of Fame career. Authenticated and encapsulated by PSA/DNA. It is unlikely you will ever find an earlier, or nicer signature of "The Captain" who has announced his retirement at the end of this year
