When Roger Maris was added to the St. Louis Cardinals lineup, he immediately helped them win the 1967 World Series. This 8” x 10” original wire photo features Tim McCarver, Orlando Cepeda and Roger Maris before a 9-2 Cardinals win over the New York Mets. At this point in the season, September 7th, the Cardinals had pretty much wrapped up the National League pennant. Original paper caption on the back.
