Ronaldo has participated in four of Portugal’s seven World Cup adventures, achieving Portugal’s best finish since 1966 with a fourth-place showing in 2006. With seven World Cup goals to his name, Ronaldo sits behind only the magnificent Eusebio in Portugal’s all-time World Cup goals scored leaderboard. To date, Ronaldo is one of only two men to eclipse the lofty 100 international goals mark, with his 100th and 101st coming in the same UEFA Nations League contest against Sweden in 2020.
