Presented here is a lot of 7 1955 World Series ticket stubs between the New York Yankees and the Brooklyn Dodgers. This Fall Classic saw yet another matchup between the New York Yankees and Brooklyn Dodgers, and was the fifth World Series between the two New York squads in nine seasons. The 1955 Dodgers shocked the world by winning their first and only World Series title in Brooklyn before moving to Los Angeles, knocking off the much-reviled Yankees in a nail biting seven game series. Dodgers’ pitcher Johnny Podres clinched the series with a superb complete game shutout in Game 7 to earn the inaugural World Series MVP award.
