Encapsulated and graded 4.0 by WATA Games. Offered here is a graded test copy of "The Legend of Zelda" yellow test cartridge. Test cartridges were used in Nintendo World Class Service Centers and were not made available to the public, making this specimen all the rarer. Most service centers received two "test copies" of games used to test the functionality of their consoles and demo the game. Nintendo terminated the program and asked the shop owners to return the carts for a full refund plus $22.50. Most were returned and destroyed, but some owners opted to keep the test cartridges for themselves.

This presented cartridge features a yellow, three screw cartridge and an oval Nintendo "Seal of Quality" with an "R" trademark on the "The Legend of Zelda" label, indicating that this copy was produced in 1990. Epoxy glue on the cart shell does nothing to diminish the beauty contained within this scarce specimen. A rare, graded test copy from one of the most legendary titles to ever appear on home consoles with an overall cartridge grade of 4.0 that is sure to appeal to fans of the "Zelda" franchise.
