To say 1999 was Chipper Jones' year would be an understatement: on his way to winning the NL's MVP Award the Braves star became the first player in history to bat over .300 while hitting more than 40 home runs, 40 doubles, 100 RBI, 100 Runs, draw more than 100 walks and swipe 20 or more bases. His record-setting performance almost single-handedly defeated the Braves' arch rivals, the New York Mets in one of the most bitterly contested pennant races of the decade. This uncracked Rawlings MS20 was used by Jones during that epic season. Of course it shows outstanding use as evident from the many ball marks and leather scuffs on the barrel. The handle shows a moderate coat of pine tar and there is some grain checking visible on the barrel. Jones' number "10" has been hand written in black marker on both ends of this bat. The sure-bet Hall of Famer has signed the barrel in blue marker adding his number "10" and "Game Used". PSA/DNA stickers 4A62688 (sticker only) and 1B04613 have been affixed to the barrel and barrel end. Letter of Authenticity from PSA/DNA who have graded this bat an GU 9.
