Rookie Card. The flashy Charlotte Hornets rookie point guard LaMelo Ball stars on this breathtaking and wholly unique Panini Flawless Platinum debut-year Rookie Patch Autograph (RPA) collectible. Ball, a product of Australia’s Illawarra Hawks, dazzled NBA fans in his first season with a series of mesmerizing assists and confident shooting. Ball averaged 15.7 points, 6.1 assists, and 5.9 rebounds per contest in 2020-21, while finishing ninth in the NBA with 1.6 steals per game. The former Chino Hills High School prep star won back-to-back-to-back NBA Rookie of the Month awards in January, February, and March of 2021. Ball has signed this clean Panini Flawless Platinum offering in blazing blue ink below a multicolored player-worn/used material patch. A statement on the card’s back by Panini attests to the authenticity of the signature and memorabilia component, and serves as the item’s COA. The limited-edition piece is serial-numbered “1/1.” The item is encased by Panini and displays a generally uncirculated manner of presentation.
