Graded NM-MT 8 by PSA, one of fewer than 500 copies, in total, validated by that company. Hall of Famer, in a "First Card in Set" appearance. This seldom-seen and delicately embossed collectible was produced for a very limited time in 1991 as Operation Desert Shield raged in the Middle East. (Topps created this special edition of its '91 Baseball issue for the diversion and entertainment of American troops serving overseas, and only a small supply emerged in the domestic hobby market.) This nicely centered example concedes just fleeting traces of wear at the bottom-edge corners. Near Mint to Mint condition.
