In his first full MLB season, the young Jones led all rookies in RBI and runs scored as the Braves bashed their way to the their first World Series since 1958. Atlanta's newest star just missed out on the NL Rookie of the Year honors, but swinging a bat like this, he forged the foundation of a career that would take him all the way to the Hall of Fame's doorstep. The Rawlings MS20 bat shows heavy game use and is uncracked. Many ball and stitch impressions with blue ink transfers can be seen throughout. Cleat imprints and and blue bat rack paint streaks cover on the barrel as are black scuffs from contact with other bats. A light coat of pine tar is on the handle and the impression from a weighted batting donut is visible on the barrel. The model, year and order number is stamped into the knob end and the weight "33" and "Jones" are handwritten in black ink. His number "10" is written in black on both ends of the bat. Jones has signed the barrel in strong black marker and added his number "10". Letter of Authenticity from PSA/DNA who have graded his bat GU 9.5 and comes with PSA/DNA COA and sticker(V74298)for the signature.
