He is one of the youngest, but also arguably the most talented and best player in the game today. At the ripe old age of 21, Mike Trout has garnered two second place finishes in the MVP voting. This 33.5 inch, 31 ounce Old Hickory bat was game used by Trout during the 2013 season. This un-cracked Pro Maple MT27 model bat has his name “MIKE TROUT” engraved in the barrel, which is full of ball marks including blue ink transfers and white scuffs plus a few stitch impressions. The handle is covered with pine tar, along with a four inch length of tape, both applied to enhance the grip. Also present are multiple rack marks and weighted donut impressions, and the knob has “MT” written in pencil. On the sweet spot (between the label and barrel stampings) is a bold, silver Sharpie “MIKE TROUT 27 ’13 Game Sued” signature and inscription. Full LOA from PSA/DNA, cert number 1B07462 for the bat authentication and LOA from PSA/DNA for the signature. A tremendous game used bat from the best all around player in the game today.
