Encapsulated and graded 9.4 with a “First-Party H-Seam” seal rating of A++ by WATA Games. Offered here is a sealed and graded copy of “Super Mario Land” developed and published by Nintendo for their Game Boy handheld console. “Super Mario Land” was one of the launch titles for Nintendo’s Game Boy and was released on July 31, 1989, and sold an astounding 18 million copies, more than “Super Mario Bros 3”. The game featured Mario and company in a side-scrolling platform game that featured Mario navigating Sarasaland in pursuit of Princess Daisy, a radical departure since most games of the era featured the “Damsel in Distress motif.” The game is noted for the debut of Princess Daisy.
This presented sealed copy features a “Made in Japan” label on the top of the box, a “K-A” ESRB rating label, and a three-line warranty box. A Nintendo “Players Choice” label is affixed to the box, indicating that this copy was produced in 1996. A sealed and graded game from one of the Game Boy’s most critically acclaimed titles with an attractive seal rating of A++ and an overall box grade of 9.4.
