2018 American League Most Valuable Player Mookie Betts wore this Wilson MB50 glove in at least five games during the 2019 MLB campaign. Betts wore the glove in a 10-6 road win over the Toronto Blue Jays on July 2nd, a 6-3 road win over the Detroit Tigers on July 7th, a 13-7 home win over the Baltimore Orioles on August 18th, a 10-4 loss to the Los Angeles Angels at Angel Stadium of Anaheim on August 31st, and in a 5-4 home win over the Orioles on September 29th in Boston’s final game of the season. The 5-4 win over Baltimore served as Betts’ final Red Sox game, with Boston trading the superstar to Los Angeles before the 2020 season commenced.

In his five games wearing this glove, Betts went 9-for-17, for a .529 batting average with two doubles, eight runs scored, and three RBI. The five-time All-Star recorded 13 putouts with the glove, and earned his fourth of five consecutive Gold Gloves at the end of the 2019 campaign. This Wilson MB50 Model glove features a textured red pattern and black leather, with tan and red accents. A circular Wilson “W” logo and a full-name Wilson logo are sewn on the glove’s wrist and thumb. “MOOKIE BETTS” is embroidered in tan lettering on the thumb as well. An “A2K” logo is sewn on the index finger slot, and an MLB logo is sewn on the pinky finger slot. Betts has signed the glove in silver marker between the wrist and thumb, inscribing “AL MVP 2018” in addition to his signature. The glove comes with a LOA from Resolution Photomatching that photo matches the glove to the 7/2, 7/7, 8/18, 8/31, and 9/29 games, as well as to an undated photograph, and a LOA from PSA/DNA (1G00711). An LOA from Beckett authenticates Betts’ signature.
