Offered here are 28 baseball that have been signed by New York Yankees greats and Hall of Famers from the 1970’s and 1980’s. Hall of Famer Reggie Jackson has signed two of the baseballs, both in blue pen across the sweet spots of Official American League Bobby Brown baseballs. Jackson inscribed “HOF 93” on the panels above his sweet spot signatures. Hall of Famer Rich “Goose” Gossage signed his name in black pen across the sweet spots of two Official Major League Allan H. Selig baseballs. Hall of Famer Jim “Catfish” Hunter has signed his name in faded black pen on the side panel of this Official Carolina League stamped ball. Ron Guidry signed his name on seven baseballs, four in blue pen and three in black pen. Guidry signed his name on the sweet spots and the balls include Official Approved major League Performance Specifications Wilson ball, an Official Major League Robert D. Manfred, Jr. ball and OML Selig baseballs. Next is Hall of Famer Dave Winfield, who signed his name in black pen on the sweet spot of an OML Selig baseball.

The next set of baseballs were signed by Bucky Dent. Dent signed four baseballs, three on the sweet spot and one on a side panel, all in blue pen and on OML Manfred, OML Selig and a Rawlings Official League stamped baseballs. Next is Lou Piniella, who signed his name on four baseballs, with the two sweet spot signatures in blue pen and the black pen signatures on side panels. The next two signatures are from Mike Torrez, who signed his name on the sweet spot of two baseballs, one in blue pen and one in black pen. The next signature is of Willie Randolph, who signed his name on the side panel of this OML Selig ball in black pen. The next ball was signed by Bobby Murcer on the sweet spot of an OML Selig ball. Next is a blue pen signature of Tommy John on the sweet spot of an OML Selig ball. Next is a signature of Rick Cerone on the sweet spot in blue pen on an OAL Brown baseball. Cerone inscribed “#10”. The final ball is a sweet spot signature of Chris Chambliss in blue pen on an OML Selig ball. This entire lot comes with a JSA Auction Letter.
