Offered here are two game used New York Mets pillbox caps worn in 1976. The first cap, a size 7 ¼, was worn by infielder Bud Harrelson. Harrelson has signed the brim of this blue cap in silver marker, inscribing “Game Used 1976” below his signature. This cap comes with a COA from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication (E84903). The second cap, a size 7, was worn by Mets manager Joe Frazier. “Joe” is written on the underside of the brim in black marker. Each cap comes with a LOA from noted game used jersey expert Dave Miedema.
