Michael Jordan began his Hall of Fame career playing for vaunted college basketball coach Dean Smith's North Carolina Tar Heels. Still, it was during Jordan's only championship season where he would show signs of the greatness to come. Presented here are lot of two tickets from the 1982 NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Tournament from the Tar Heels Final Four that included a 68-63 victory against the University of Houston on March 27th, and a ticket from the Tar Heels thrilling 62-63 victory over the Georgetown Hoyas on March 29th, 1982. Coach Smith designed the play that allowed Jordan to sink the game-winning jump shot to put the Tar Heels over the Hoyas with 17 seconds left to play.
