Presented here are a pair of pink cleats and a pair of batting gloves worn by Atlanta Braves outfielder Ronald Acuna Jr. during the Braves’ 6-1 victory over the Philadelphia Phillies at Truist Park in Atlanta on Mother’s Day, May 9th, 2021. The 2018 National League Rookie of the Year Acuna Jr. went 0-for-3, scoring one run and recording one walk during the victory.

The first item in this presented lot is a pair of size 11 ½ New Balance cleats worn by Acuna Jr. during the May 9th, 2021 Mother’s Day game. The cleats feature a white and pink colorway with a paisley design and feature the New Balance “N” logo in white plastic with pink trim on the instep and outstep of the cleats. The New Balance “NB” logo appears on the white portion of the pink and white tongue. Eight metal cleats are attached to hard plastic white and pink soles. Acuna Jr. signed and inscribed “2021 GU” on the toe box of each cleat with a black marker. Acuna Jr. also inscribed “Te Amo Mama” (I love you) in Spanish on the back heel of the left cleat and “Por Siempre” (forever) in black marker on the back heel of the right cleat with a black marker. The signature and inscriptions are bold, and the cleats how moderate elements of game use, containing scuff marks on the back left heel, dirt stains on the toe boxes, and dirt attached to the cleats and abrasions on the hard plastic soles. The game used, signed and inscribed cleats worn by Acuna Jr. come with MLB Authenticated holograms (VS750553-Left Cleat, VS750554-Right Cleat) and an LOA from Acuna Jr. (RA14734-Left Cleat, RA14735-Right Cleat) for the game use and signatures.

The second item in this lot is a pair of Franklin batting gloves worn by Acuna Jr. during the Braves’ 6-1 Mother’s Day victory over the Philadelphia Phillies on May 9th, 2021. The yellow, red, and navy plastic and leather gloves feature “FRANKLIN” in red plastic on the backhand of each glove. The MLB logo appears on the Velcro wrist strap of each glove. “ROY-SS” appears on the inside of the yellow wrist strap in blue. A plastic “FRANLIN” logo in raised plastic lettering on white appears on the inside of the yellow wrist strap. Acuna Jr. signed and inscribed “G/U 2021” on the inside palm of the right glove and signed his name on the palm of the left glove with a silver metallic paint pen. The signatures and inscriptions are bold, and the gloves how excellent evidence of game use and contain heavy wear on the inside palms and fingers, a tear of the pointer finger on the left glove, and dirt stains throughout. The game used gloves come with an LOA from Acuna Jr. (RA15594-Right Glove, RA15592-Left Glove) for the game use and signatures.
