Presented here are two full tickets from the 1967 All-Star Game signed by Hall of Fame infielder Tony Perez and a full ticket from the 1966 World Series signed by Hall of Fame outfielder Frank Robinson. The first item in this lot is an 8 x 2 ¾ -inch full ticket from the 1967 All-Star Game at Anaheim Stadium in Anaheim, California is signed by Perez. The All-Star Game is notable for being the then-longest All-Star Game, with the National League defeating the American League 2-1 in 15 innings. Perez, a seven-time All-Star selection and three-time World Series champion who rose to fame as a member of the Cincinnati Reds “Big Red Machine” teams that dominated the MLB during the 1970s, hit the game-winning home run off of Catfish Hunter during the top of the 15th inning to give the National League the lead and ultimately the win. The ticket is labeled “AISLE 33 ROW BB SEAT 119” in red on both ends of the ticket. The ticket is labeled “ALL-STAR GAME” and “Under supervision by WILLIAM D. ECKERT Commissioner of Baseball AMERICAN vs. NATIONAL Tuesday, July 11, 1967.” in black on the left side of the ticket. “GROUND LEVEL $8.00” appears on the bottom of the Commissioner statement in black lettering on the pink portion of the ticket. A detachable rain check with perforations containing the information for the makeup game is located on the midsection of the ticket. The midsection of the ticket is labeled “AMERICAN LEAGUE NATIONAL LEAGUE” with the Angels logo that is labeled “WELCOME 1967 ALL-STARS” above an image of Anaheim Stadium. “ALL-STAR GAME” is labeled in red below the image. “CALIFORNIA ANGELS BASEBALL CLUB, AGENT TUESDAY, JULY 11, 1967 4:15 P.M. GROUND LEVEL $8.00” is on the pink portion of the bottom midsection of the ticket. The reverse of the ticket features the agreement and warning for the ticket. Perez signed and inscribed “1967 All-Star MVP” with a blue marker across the midsection of the ticket. The ticket was encapsulated and authenticated by PSA/DNA (41776791) and is certified Auto 10.

The second item in this presented lot is a 7 5/8 x 2-inch full ticket from Game 4 of the 1966 World Series between the Baltimore Orioles and Los Angeles Dodgers. The Orioles swept the Dodgers in four games, limiting the Dodgers to two runs during the four games to bring the Orioles their first World Series title in franchise history. Robinson, the only player in MLB history to be named the MVP of both the National League and American League, was named the World Series MVP. The ticket is labeled “SEC 12 ROW 20 SEAT 12” on the top and bottom of the ticket, with the top labeled “UPPER RESERVED $8.00” in blue. The bottom of the ticket features “BALTIMORE ORIOLES WORLD SERIES 1966” with “AMERICAN LEAGUE vs. NATIONAL LEAGUE GAME 4” and lists the price. The midsection of the ticket is labeled “1966 WORLD SERIES AMERICAN LEAGUE vs. NATIONAL LEAGUE MEMORIAL STADIUM UPPER RESERVED $8.00” with a warning to not to detach in the event of a rain delay. The reverse of the ticket features a notice and a warning in regard to the ticket. Robinson signed and inscribed “1966 WS MVP” with a blue marker across the top of the ticket. The full Game 4 ticket from the 1966 World Series between the Orioles and Dodgers where the Orioles swept the Dodgers for their first World Series title comes encapsulated and authenticated by PSA/DNA (41776714) and is rated Auto 10.
