Hall of Fame linebacker Mike Singletary was one of the most fearsome defensive forces of the 1980’s, leading the fearsome “Monsters of the Midway” Chicago Bears to one of the best stretches in franchise history. Singletary and Buddy Ryan’s defense dominated opposing teams during the 1985 season, when the Bears racked up a staggering 15-1 regular season record before blowing by postseason competition, outscoring their hapless foes 91-10 en route to the Super Bowl XX title. Singletary retired after the 1992 season and was swiftly inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame as a part of the class of 1998.

The first item in this lot are shoulder pads worn by Singletary during his standout Bears career. Made by Power Athletic Equipment, these pads also feature a Riddell sticker on the on the left chest. Singletary has signed the right chest in silver marker, inscribing “HOF 98” near his signature. The next item in this lot is a black Chicago Bears duffel bag. “Chicago Bears” is printed in orange on each end of the bag, which Singletary has signed in silver marker (as Michael Singletary). He added the inscription “HOF 98”. Each item in this lot comes with a LOA from Mike Singletary.
