The first item in this lot is a Yogi Berra signature on a Yogi Berra model Louisville Slugger bat. The Hall of Fame New York Yankees catcher, coach and manager has signed his name in blue marker on the sweet spot of the bat. Berra played 19 seasons in Major League Baseball (1946–1963, 1965), all but the last for the Yankees. He was an 18-time American League and won 10 World Series championships as a player—more than any other player in MLB history. This item comes with a COA from Steiner and an MLB Authenticated hologram (EK344911). The second item in this lot is a Phil Rizzuto signature and inscription on a Rizzuto-model Louisville Slugger bat. The Hall of Fame New York Yankees shortstop and broadcaster has signed his name in blue marker on the sweet spot and inscribed “H.R. #1 – 4-23-41 vs. Detroit” below his signature. A popular figure on a team dynasty that captured 10 American League titles and seven World Championships in his 13 seasons, Rizzuto holds numerous World Series records for shortstops.
