Widely regarded as the greatest boxing match of all time, Joe Frazier and Muhammad Ali met with undefeated records in the “Fight of the Century” in 1971 at New York’s Madison Square Garden. The fight glorified “Smokin’ Joe,” who handed Ali his first professional loss in impressive fashion. There are several iconic images from the fight, including the massive left hook Frazier landed that sent Ali tumbling to the canvas with a battered jaw. That is one of three shots captured from the fight in this series of 16x20-inch black-and-white photos signed by Frazier in bold, silver Sharpie. Another photograph shows Frazier landing an overhand right to the grimacing face of Ali, while the last image shows both combatants landing blows, with Frazier getting the better of Ali again with his left hand. Each signed photograph comes with a PSA/DNA COA, with verification numbers “L90832,” “L90031” and “M32060.”
