Presented here are four basketballs signed by members of the Naismith Memorial Hall of Fame. The first ball is signed by Minneapolis Lakers legend George Mikan. The gangly center was the greatest basketball player of the first half of the 20th century. His height and athleticism changed the game like no player before him, leading to a plethora of rule changes and alterations. Mikan retired in 1956, finishing his career with an average of 23.1 points and 13.4 rebounds per game.

The next ball is signed by Kevin McHale, the long-armed power forward for the Boston Celtics. A three-time league champion, McHale was the prototype for today’s athletically gifted power forwards. The former Minnesota Golden Gopher averaged 17.9 points and 7.3 rebounds per game over his Hall of Fame career. He signed this ball in black Sharpie, adding the inscription “Good Luck” above his signature. This ball comes with a JSA COA (M62323).

The third ball is signed by Hakeem “The Dream” Olajuwon, formerly of the Houston Rockets. An offensively gifted center, his signature move, “The Dream Shake,” terrorized defenders for 18 seasons. The Houston product was named the 1993-94 NBA MVP, the same season he brought the first of two consecutive Larry O’Brien Trophies to Houston. The Hall of Famer averaged 21.8 points and 11.1 rebounds per game over his career. He signed this ball in black Sharpie and this ball comes with a JSA COA (M92990).

The final ball is signed by Lenny Wilkens, a three-time inductee into the Naismith Memorial Hall of Fame as a player, coach, and member of the 1992 Dream Team. Wilkens won over 1,300 games in his coaching career and coached the Seattle SuperSonics to their only NBA Championship. He signed this ball in black Sharpie.
