Offered here are four signed baseballs featuring Brooklyn and Los Angeles Dodgers greats. The first ball is an Official National League William D. White baseball that has been signed on the sweet spot by Hall of Famer Don Drysdale in blue pen. Orel Hershiser signed his name on the north panel in blue pen and Fernando Valenzuela signed his name in blue pen on the south panel. The second baseball is an Official National League Leonard S. Coleman ball that has been signed on the sweet spot by the two pitchers who threw the first pitch to Jackie Robinson of his career and the last pitch. Johnny Sain signed his name in blue pen on the sweet spot and inscribed “4-15-47”, while Johnny Kucks signed his name in blue pen below Sain’s signature and inscribed “10-10-56”. The ball has the Jackie Robinson 50th Anniversary stamp on the side panel. The west panel has the inscriptions “First Pitch To Jackie” and “Last Pitch to Jackie”. The third ball was signed by Bill Sherman in blue pen on the sweet spot of this ONL Coleman ball and he inscribed “B. DODGER 1951”. The final ball in this lot has been signed by Bob Welch in blue pen across the sweet spot of this Official American League Bobby Brown baseball. This entire lot has been pre-certified by Beckett Authentication.
