Offered here are four attractive New York Met of the Month Awards from the 1980s as selected by the sportswriters of the New York Daily News. Bill Gallo, a noted cartoonist and newspaper columnist for the New York Daily News, did the illustrations for each award. The awards include: a) Two action images of Dwight Gooden who was voted Met of the Month in both September 1984 and June 1985; b) A profile image of Keith Hernandez who was voted Met of the Month for July 1985; and c) An action image of the Darryl Strawberry who was voted Met of the Month in September 1987.
