Phelps set the sporting world on fire in 2008, breaking Mark Spitz’s longstanding Olympic record by winning an unprecedented eight gold medals. Phelps broke seven world records, and one Olympic record, as he rewrote swimming history. In total, Phelps won 23 gold medals during his Olympic career. The full tickets are from August 10th, 11th, 12th, 13th, 15th, and 16th held at the Beijing National Aquatics Centre. August 12th saw Phelps earn a new world and Olympic record in the 200-meter freestyle with a time of 1:42.96. August 16th saw Phelps set another world and Olympic records during the Men’s 100-meter butterfly with a time of 50.58.
