Christian Colón, a shortstop and second baseman, served as a utility player for the Kansas City Royals during the 2015 season, his second season in the majors. He entered Game 5 of the 2015 World Series (his first appearance in the playoffs) in the top of the 12th as a pinch hitter. After not making a plate appearance for four weeks, he hit a single to score Jarrod Dyson for the winning run to clinch the World Series, marking the first time in history that a player in his first at bat in a World Series delivered the Series-winning run.  

Offered is a lot are six items used by Colon during the 2015 World Series and signed by the journeyman infielder. The first item in this lot is a pair of white leather and mesh Nike batting gloves, worn by Colon when he hit the game-winning, 2015 World Series-clinching RBI single in Game 5.  Colon has signed each hand in the pair of Diamond Elite gloves on the palm in black marker, and inscribed “24” below his signature. He has inscribed on the left palm “Game Winning RBI Single!” and “2015 WS Game 5 Used” in black marker. Colon has inscribed on the right palm “2015 WS Game 5 Used Game Winning RBI Single!” in black marker. The pair of gloves show signs of wear on the palms and fingers. This item comes with a LOA from Anderson Authentics (1511, 1512).

The second item in this lot is a game-used, royal blue Benik hand guard. Colon has signed his name and inscribed #24” below his signature in black marker over the thumb hole. Below the thumb hole, he has inscribed “2015 WS Game Used Game Winning RBI Single” in black marker. The Velcro straps have brown dirt marks and there is a pine star stain on the reverse side. This item comes with a LOA from Anderson Authentics (1518).

The third item in this lot is a game-used, royal blue elastic cloth arm sleeve. Colon has signed his name on the sleeve in silver marker, and inscribed “24 2015 WS Game 5 Used Game Winning RBI Single!” below his signature on the forearm below the elbow. This item comes with a LOA from Anderson Authentics (1516).

The fourth item in this lot is a game-used blue and black Nike armband, signed by Colon in silver marker and inscribed “24” below his signature, followed by the inscription “2015 WS Game 5 Used Game Winning RBI Single!” also in silver marker. This item comes with a LOA from Anderson Authentics (1515).

The fifth item in this lot is a game-used royal blue Nike sleeveless undershirt with a white “KC” logo on the center. Colon has signed his name and inscribed “24” in black marker on the left side of the chest, and inscribed “2015 WS Game 5 Used Game Winning RBI Single!” in black marker below his signature. This item comes with a LOA from Anderson Authentics (1517).

The sixth item in this lot is a pair of plastic bracelets worn by Colon in Game 5 of the 2015 World Series. The bracelets consist of rubberized beads. There is one bracelet with 24 blue beads, one black and one white bead, while the second has 24 pink beads, one black and one white bead. This item comes with a LOA from Anderson Authentics.
