Presented is a lot of seven Philadelphia Phillies game-used baseball caps, including four caps signed by Phillies players including Jim Thome, Chase Utley and Greg Luzinski. The first baseball cap in this lot is a game-used red Philadelphia Phillies cap signed by former Phillies first baseman Jim Thome. The Hall of Fame slugger has signed his name on the top of the brim in black pen. Thome played 22 seasons in Major League Baseball from 1991 to 2012, including two stints with the Phillies (2003-2005, 2012). This cap has a white “P” embroidered on the front, and a blue button. This item comes with a LOA from MEARS (315078) for the game use and the signature on this baseball cap comes with a COA from Beckett Authentication (H39766).

                The second baseball cap in this lot is a game-used dark red Phillies cap signed by former Philadelphia left fielder Greg “The Bull” Luzinski. The Phillies slugger has signed the cap in blue marker on the underside of the bill. The dark red cap has a stylized “P” embroidered in white on the front and a white button on top. Luzinski spent most of his career with the Philadelphia Phillies (1970–80) and retired as a member of the Chicago White Sox (1981–84).  He was the runner-up for the National League’s Most Valuable Player in 1975 (when he led the National League in RBIs with 120) and again in 1977, when he posted career highs in batting average (.309), home runs (39), and RBIs (130).                 The third baseball cap in this lot is a game-used dark red Phillies cap signed by former Philadelphia utility player Del Unser. An unsung hero in the Phillies 1980 World Series championship team, Unser has signed his name in black marker on the green underside of the brim.  Unser played a key role in the Phillies' 1980 World Series victory versus the Kansas City Royals, getting crucial RBI doubles as a pinch hitter in the late innings of Games 2 and 5. The signature on this baseball cap has comes with a COA from Beckett Authentication (H39764).  This cap also comes with a STICKER ONLY from PSA/DNA (D36566).

                The fourth baseball cap in this lot is a game-used dark red Phillies cap signed by former Philadelphia catcher Bob Boone. Boone has signed his name in blue marker on the green underside of the brim, with “8” inscribed in black marker in the center. Boone played for the Phillies from 1972-1981, and was a phenomenal defensive catcher, committing only eight errors and allowing only three passed balls in the 1977 season. He made the National League All-Star team three times in a Phillies uniform and helped the team win the 1980 World Series. This item comes with a LOA from MEARS (315074) and the signature on this baseball cap comes with a COA from Beckett Authentication (H39763). 

                The fifth baseball cap in this lot is a game-used red Phillies cap signed by former Philadelphia second baseman Chase Utley. Utley has signed his name in black marker on the brim and inscribed “26” below his signature. The baseball cap has the white embroidered “P” on the front and a blue button on top. Utley was a six-time National League All-Star during his Phillies career (2003-2015) and won a World Series with the Phillies in 2008. This item comes with a LOA from MEARS (315072) for the game use and a STICKER ONLY from JSA (D72218) for the signature.

                The sixth baseball cap in this lot is a dark red game-used Phillies cap worn by former MLB pitcher Jim Kaat. The size 7¼ cap has the Phillies stylized “P” embroidered on the front in white. The sweatband is inscribed, in black pen, “Jim Kaat”. Kaat pitched for the Phillies from 1976 to 1979 in a 25-year MLB career. This cap comes with a LOA from MEARS (315080) for the game use. 

                The seventh baseball cap in this lot is a dark red game-used Phillies cap. The number “4” is inscribed in black marker on the white underside of the brim.  Lenny Dykstra wore the number “4” in his tenure with the Phillies from 1989-1996.  In 1990, he started the MLB All-Star Game in centerfield, led the league in hits and finished fourth in batting average, hitting over .400 as late as June. This cap comes with a LOA from MEARS (315081).
