Mariano Rivera, the most decorated closer in Major League Baseball history, is the game’s all-time saves leader with over 640 and counting. The owner of five World Series championships is retiring after the 2013 season, closing the book on his Hall-of-Fame career. This colorful 36 x 24 inch print by acclaimed sports artist Bill Lopa is ideal for any fan of Rivera and the Yankees. The print features Rivera poised to deliver a pitch with his giant signature in bold, black ink spanning nearly the entire width of the piece. Under Rivera’s signature reads, “Enter Sandman, last to wear #42” with “96, 98, 99, 00, 09 WS Champs, 1999 WS MVP and 2003 ALCS MVP.” Lopa’s signature appears in the bottom right corner of the print with the marking "AP 2/2" to the left. This is an extremely scarce item with so many inscriptions performed in Rivera's hand. The print comes with a COA from PSA/DNA, cert #U69421.
