Before rewriting the record books in the NBA, Michael Jordan put together a storied career at the University of North Carolina, where he led the Tar Heels to a national championship in 1982. This signed, limited edition Nike University of North Carolina home jersey features Michael Jordan’s signature in bold, black Sharpie across the “2” on the back of his iconic number “23” jersey. Stitched in Carolina blue over four rows below his number is “NORTH CAROLINA,” “1982 NCAA,” “NATIONAL CHAMPIONS” and “8/23,” which indicates the rarity of this Upper Deck Authenticated Memorabilia item. The white jersey features “NORTH” and “CAROLINA” with Jordan’s number “23” sandwiched in between in Carolina blue tackle twill. “JORDAN” is stitched across the back with his number “23” below, also in Carolina blue tackle twill. The front tail of the jersey features a “Nike” manufacturer’s tag with size “46.” The jersey features an Upper Deck Authenticated holographic sticker, number “BAG18512.”
