Consider the following regarding Michael Jordan's individual accomplishments on the hardwood floor: Five MVP awards, 10 All-NBA First Team designations, nine All-Defensive First Team honors, 14 NBA All-Star Game appearances, three All-Star Game MVP awards, 10 scoring titles, three steals titles, six NBA Finals MVP awards, and the 1988 NBA Defensive Player of the Year Award. He holds the NBA records for highest career regular season scoring average and highest career playoff scoring average. It is without wonder that, when writing his biography, the National Basketball Association (NBA) website states, "By acclamation, Michael Jordan is the greatest basketball player of all time."
Now consider the following about Mike Tyson’s achievements in the squared circle: Tyson holds the record as the youngest boxer ever to win the WBC, WBA and IBF heavyweight titles at just over 20 years of age. He was also the first heavyweight boxer to simultaneously hold the WBA, WBC and IBF titles, and the only heavyweight fighter in boxing history to successively unify them. In 1988, Tyson became the lineal champion when he knocked out Michael Spinks in just 91 seconds. Tyson has been inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame and the World Boxing Hall of Fame.

After a game in which Michael Jordan lead the Chicago Bulls against Washington in 1997 (11/29/97 as per the Anthony Harris letter), Jordan gave Mike Tyson a pair of his game used sneakers with the following inscription “TO MIKE, STAY STRONG, Michael Jordan.”
The sneakers show moderate game used with some scuff marks, particularly on the outside of the right toe. Size 13 1/2.They have a serial # tag of 337100 PCB which is player exclusive produced for Jordan. They are accompanied by a letter from Anthony Harris, Mike Tyson’s personal assistant from 1996-2002, which explain the history behind them. Truly a rare piece of history, these game used Michael Jordan sneakers are the only ones known to exist that tie “the greatest basketball player of all time” to “the baddest man on the planet.”
