Michael Jordan shot to fame as a member of the University of North Carolina Tar Heels basketball program, hitting the game-winning shot against the Georgetown Hoyas in the 1982 NCAA title game. Jordan scored 17.7 points per game in college, perhaps limited by Dean Smith’s methodical game, before being selected with the third overall pick of the 1984 NBA Draft by the Chicago Bulls. The rest, as they say, is history, with Jordan exceeding all expectations to become the greatest basketball player in the long history of Dr. Naismith’s sport. Jordan has signed this offered Carolina blue UNC jersey in black marker, placing his signature on the white and blue tackle twill “2” digit sewn on the back of the size “56” jersey. This jersey originates from the personal memorabilia collection of Tyronn Lue, who has provided an LOA for this jersey. This also comes with a LOA from JSA (BB02148). Please note that Tyronn Lue is donating 100% of his proceeds from the sale of this item to the United Methodist Church of Mexico, Missouri.
