Hall of Fame centerfielder Mickey Mantle has signed this cut circa the mid-1950s. Mantle, a lifelong Yankee, played 18 seasons in the Majors and was named to 20 American League All-Star teams. Mantle led the Yankees to seven World Series titles while winning three American League MVP awards. Mantle’s talent was evident from his debut in 1951, and Mantle won his first MVP trophy in 1956 at the age of 24. Mantle was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1974. The “Commerce Comet” has signed this cut in black pen, inscribing “Best wishes” above his iconic signature. This cut signature is accompanied by a LOA from PSA/DNA (AF02583).
