Presented is a Mickey Mantle signed New York Yankees flannel home jersey with “No. 7” inscription in a framed display. The Hall of Fame Yankees centerfielder signed his name in black marker below the navy-blue interlocking “NY” logo on the left front chest and inscribed “NO. 7” below his signature. The Mitchell & Ness Cooperstown Collection replica jersey is white flannel with navy-blue pinstripes, and a red, white, blue and orange embroidered patch on the left sleeve with the legend “Yankees 1903-1952 50th Year”. The Mantle signed and inscribed jersey is mounted in a white matte with light blue background and red accent and displayed in a 44 x 44-inch black wood with glass frame. In 1952, his second year in the majors and first full season in center field, Mantle was selected as an American League All-Star for the first time (he would finish his career with 20 All-Star selections). In his first complete World Series (1952), Mantle was the Yankees hitting star, with an on-base percentage above .400 and a slugging percentage above .600. He homered for the third Yankee run in a 3–2 Game 6 win and he knocked in the winning runs in the 4–2 Game 7 win, with a homer in the sixth inning and an RBI single in the seventh inning. This item comes with a LOA from JSA (B74068).
