Presented is an Official American League Bobby Brown baseball signed by three of the greatest hitters in Major League Baseball history, Mickey Mantle, Ted Williams and Joe DiMaggio. Williams has signed his name in blue pen on the sweet spot, while Mantle has signed his name in blue pen above the sweet spot, and DiMaggio has signed his name in blue pen below the sweet spot. Both Mantle and DiMaggio played centerfield for the New York Yankees – DiMaggio from 1936 to 1951, and Mantle succeeding him from 1952 to 1968. Williams played left field for the Boston Red Sox from 1939 to 1960, with time out for military service in World War II and the Korean War. All three were fierce sluggers – DiMaggio won the American League batting title twice (1939, 1940), AL home run leader twice (1937, 1948) and RBI leader twice (1941, 1948) as well as the AL MVP three times (1939, 1941, 1947). Williams was a two time AL MVP (1946, 1949), six-time AL batting champ (1941, 1942, 1947, 1948, 1957, 1958) and four time AL HR leader (1941, 1942, 1947, 1949). Mantle was three-time AL MVP (1956, 1957, 1962), AL batting champ in 1956, and four-time AL HR leader (1955, 1956, 1958 and 1960).
