In his first full season in the majors, Mike Trout batted .326 and led the American league in stolen bases, on base percentage and runs scored. He was July’s AL MVP and AL Rookie of the Month and appeared in the All-Star Game where he went 1 for 1 and stole a base. By the time the season had ended Trout was rewarded with a Silver Slugger Award, was voted AL Rookie of the Year and only Miguel Cabrera’s Triple Crown season kept him from receiving the MVP Award as well. Flawless size 6 7/8 Wilson Los Angeles Angels batting helmet. Trout has signed the brim in contrasting silver ink along the notation “2012 AL ROY”. A numbered MLB hologram sticker is affixed inside the helmet.
