Offered here is a framed copy of Life magazine from October 23, 1970, featuring Muhammad Ali on the cover. In addition, there is a commemorative envelope signed by Ali in the frame. The frame is 21 x 31 ½ inches. The cover of the magazine features Ali standing with his gloved hands on his hip, wearing only a pair of bright red Spartan shorts. The title of the issue is “Look Out-He’s Back”. Underneath the magazine is a plaque that reads “Muhammad Ali/”The Greatest”/Float Like a Butterfly, Sting Like a Bee”. The commemorative envelope features the iconic photo of Ali standing over Liston, with Ali’s signature rendered in blue ballpoint pen next to it. This magazine was issued three days before Ali returned from his suspension from boxing, three years after his last fight. Ali defeated Jerry Quarry in a short three rounds in his boxing return.
