World-class boxer and civil rights activist Muhammad Ali signed this 1994 World Series Baseball. The 1994 World Series never took place due to the players’ strike that ended the season in August and the prime of Ali’s career was interrupted due to his objection of the Vietnam War and his refusal to serve in the military that stripped him of his heavyweight title. Despite this set-back in his career Muhammad Ali remains the only three-time lineal heavyweight champion. This ball was autographed by Ali in his former name Cassius Clay. The signature is written in blue pen ink and comes with a JSA STICKER ONLY (B78044).
