Presented is a 2003 hardcover book, “Muhammad Ali:  The Glory Years,” with 10 total signatures in the book.  The front cover sleeve features a close-up black and white portrait of Ali and is signed by the three-time heavyweight boxing champion in black marker in the lower left corner.  He has also signed his name on the back-cover photo, in the lower center beneath his figure, captured in an overhead black and white photograph of Ali after he has knocked out Sonny Liston. Inside the book, on page 8, is a full-page black and white photo of Ali training underwater in a pool, signed “Cassius Clay” in the upper left corner in blue ballpoint pen.  He has also signed “Cassius Clay” on his chest in the full-page black and white photo on page 10, showing Ali emerging from the pool in the previous photo.

On page 17, he has signed “Muhammad Ali” in blue ballpoint pen under the headline “Fifteen Minutes of Fame.”  Ali has signed his name in blue ballpoint pen “Muhammad Ali” on page 104, over his right arm in a two-page black and white photo spread of Ali, on the left, fighting Sonny Liston, on the right. A black and white full-page photo of Ali sparring on page 167 has been signed “Muhammad Ali” in blue ballpoint pen on the fighter’s left shoulder.  Ali has signed “Muhammad Ali” in blue ballpoint pen in the center of his forehead in a full-page color close-up portrait of Ali, covered in sweat, on page 251.  At the top of page 256, Ali has signed his name in blue marker.  The final signature appears on page 266, under the headline “King of the World,” where Ali has signed his name in blue marker.  There are slight wear marks on the dust jacket on the bottom front right corner and top back left corner.  There is a slight tear at the top right corner of the dust jacket on the spine.  The 11 x 11-inch hardcover was published by Miramax Books, and is co-authored by Felix Dennis and Don Atyeo.  Ali (1942-2016) was the American former heavyweight champion boxer and one of the greatest sporting figures of the 20th century. An Olympic gold medalist and the first fighter to capture the heavyweight title three times, Ali had a 56-5 record in his 21-year professional career, including 37 wins by knock-out. This book comes with a LOA from JSA.
