Offered in this lot is a 1970 World Cup final Commemorative Brazil national team shirt. The Brazilian yellow shirt has a green collar, sleeve ends, and player number. The shirt is a #10 Pelé shirt with Brazil’s CBD logo on the upper left chest. Underneath the insignia is inscribed “Brazil 4-1 Italy Mexico 1970 World Cup final June 21 1970”. The shirt is signed by four members of one of the world’s greatest teams to grace the pitch. All four of the signatures are signed and inscribed chronologically in black marker ink in the order that the athlete scored a goal in the final match.

The first signature of course is the legendary “Pelé 18’” who scored with a header delivered to him by Rivelino, the second goal belongs to “Gérson 66’” who scored kicking a bullet into the net, third is “Jairzinho 71’” served from a freekick taken by Gérson, followed by an assist off the head of Pelé into a lightning fast run by Jairzinho. The final goal by “Carlos Alberto 86’” is arguably one of the best goals in the history of the 1970 World Cup. After regaining possession of the ball, Brazil pushes the ball up the left wing, followed by a pass to Pelé. Pelé, facing pressure from two members of the Italian defense, sees an opening and feeds Alberto the ball into the right half of the 18, followed by Alberto smashing the ball into the bottom left corner of the net. This awesome piece of World cup history comes with a full LOA from PSA/DNA (AB14468).
