Presented is a National Football League 75 Member All-Time Team award presented to former Chicago Bears star Bronko Nagurski. The “National Football League 75th Anniversary All-Time Team” was chosen by a selection committee of media and league personnel in 1994 to honor the greatest players of the first 75 years of the league. Nagurski, who died in 1990, was one of those chosen 75 players. The award is a 1½ x 1½-inch cloisonne pin features the diamond-shaped NFL 75 loo in black, red, blue, green and gold with a genuine diamond set between the “7” and “5”. The pin features a gold-engraved bottom edges with the legend “Member All-Time Team”. The pin is set on a diamond-shaped blue felt pad set inside a diamond-shaped 1½ x 3¼ x 4¾-inch brown wood box engraved on the top outer lid with the NFL 75 logo. The inside lid features a 2 x 2¾-inch gold metal plaque engraved in black with the legend “Presented to Bronko Nagurski NFL All-Time Team”. The plaque is set on a diamond-shaped blue felt lining.  Nagurski joined the Chicago Bears in 1930 after a legendary college career at the University of Minnesota. He became the NFL’s symbol of power and ruggedness. A bull-dozing runner on offense and a bone-crushing linebacker on defense, Nagurski gained 4,031 yards in nine seasons. He was selected All-NFL in 1932, 1933, 1934, 1936 and 1937. Nagurski’s two touchdown passes clinched the Bears’ 1933 NFL Championship victory. He returned in 1943 after a five-year retirement to help the Bears win the 1943 NFL Championship. This item comes with a LOA from the Nagurski family.
