Presented here is a Riddell New York Giants mini-helmet signed by five key players on the New York Giants Super Bowl XLII winning team. The signers of this helmet include running back Ahmad Bradshaw, rookie wide receiver Steve Smith, safety James Butler, running back Derrick Ward, and wideout David Tyree. Tyree made one of the most famous catches in NFL history during Super Bowl XLII, coming down with an Eli Manning bomb by pinning the ball to the crown of his helmet while simultaneously being dragged down by multiple New England Patriots defenders. This play was largely responsible for the Giants 17-14 victory that ruined the Patriots undefeated season. The signatures on this helmet have been written in silver marker.
