As the greatest collegiate football power of all time, Notre Dame has produced its share of legends, but non other than thei rgreat coach Knute Rockne. This collection includes many items pertaining to the Fightin' Irish football. Includes: 1) Knute Rockne 1931 Memorial "Knute Rockne on Football" program. 90 pages, with tons of information regarding Rockne including dozens of newspaper clippings taped inside. Both covers are covered with masking tape. 2) 1920s Player Scrapbook - likely form 1925-26 player Ray Morelli, whose many items we had in our February auction. Bookhas Notre Dame seal on front with many mementos form his years at Notre Dame. Includes hundreds of clippings, pictures and a coupel programs all glued wihtin the pages. 3) Pennant - 30 inch pennant withg "Notre Dame" in gold with runner. Appears 60's/70s (EX/MT) 4) BOOKS - three hardcover books with 1944 "Frank Leahy and the Fightin' Irish; 1931 "Knute Rockne Man Builder." (VG) and 1931s "Rockne" by Warren Brown (EX). 5) 1980s two derby style Notre Dame caps.
