The Ali-Frazier series of fights remains one of the most hallowed and legendary rivalries in boxing history. The first match pitched the pair of undefeated heavyweights together at Madison Square Garden, as what was billed as the “Fight of the Century”. Frazier came away victorious after a brutal 15 round battle.
This poster is for the second fight, a 12-round contest again held at Madison Square Garden. Ali got his revenge, defeating Frazier by unanimous decision. This poster shows promotional pictures of both Ali and Frazier over a yellow background. It is captioned “Fight II…The Big Fight Everyone Is Waiting To See”.
