Offered here is a signed letter regarding the Enola Gay dropping two bombs over Hiroshima. The letter is from the United States Army Strategic Air Forces with plans to “deliver additional bombs to the above targets as soon as made ready”. The letter was printed December 1st, 1945 and addressed to General Carl Speats. Paul Tibbets autographed this letter and inscribed it “Pilot- Enola Gay over Hiroshima” in blue pen. This item comes with a LOA from University Archives.
